The following dates are effective as of 1 July, 2008 for the 2009 skiing season. All prices are quoted in Euros and are subject to change without notice. Prices are per person per week and are based upon twin/double occupancy with private bath. Single rooms are available upon request.

Himachal Powder Week (Standard Package

Max skiers per guide is 4.

Included in this package:
• 30`500 meters of vertical skiing per week (guaranteed 20`000 meters)
• Six days guide service
• Use of an avalanche transceiver and avalanche airbag
• Seven nights lodging in Manali on twin share basis including all meals

Lodge Based Himalayan Exploration

Price in € per person 2`100.-

With our Lodge Based Himalayan Exploration we offer all the attractions of a Himalayan trek without compromising your comfort. Guests can enjoy the fine foods, comfortable rooms, massages and the health spa of our facilities while venturing out for walks through beautifully preserved villages against the backdrop of the worlds most magnificent mountain range. Weekly packages include transfers from Delhi to Manali and back, full board accommodation, services of local guides and all local transport.

Delhi Hotels

HHS has block bookings at a five-star hotel in New Delhi to accommodate our guests before and after their ski trip. Please inform us on booking if you would like to avail of this service. Guests wishing to book other hotels in Delhi are asked to do so directly with the hotel. Please be warned that hotel space in Delhi can be very tight and should be booked well in advance.

Extension Trip

Our travel associates run a full service travel agency and are an excellent information source, offering services to HHA guests requiring itinerary changes, re-confirmations or trip planning while in India. Many of our guests have inquired about extensions to their heli-ski holiday in the Himalayas. These extensions can provide wonderful opportunities to see more of India, or even other parts of Asia.

Suggestions for trips within India include: day trips to the Taj Mahal, camel safaris through Rajasthan, vacations in Kerala, exploring tea plantations in Darjeeling and visiting the historic cities of Khajurao, Jaipur, Varanasi or Jodhpur.

Outside India, possibilities include; tiger and rhino watching by elephant-back at Tigertops in Nepal, trekking through Buddhist Tibet, canoeing the Mekong and exploring the Golden Triangle or relaxing on the famous beaches of Goa. Our travel associates can assist you with arrangements for many of these trips.

• To confirm your booking, a deposit of 25% of the package price must be paid within 2 weeks of your initial booking request.
• The balance of the package price is due 12 weeks prior to your departure date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

For your own protection a trip cancellation and repatriation insurance is compulsory. Kindly purchase one at your earliest convenience. This may be available from your travel agent when you make your international travel arrangements. If you cancel your trip earlier than twelve weeks before your departure date, we will refund your payments made minus your non-refundable deposit. After the twelve week deadline no refunds will be made. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, HHA is forced to cancel your trip, we will give you a full credit in one of the following three years as well as adding free unlimited extra vertical to that booking.

Refunds are given only for the inability to fly due to poor weather or mechanical breakdown. Refunds are given to a rate of € 90. - per 1`000 meters vertical unskied below the guarantee.

No refund will be made for days not used (late arrival, early start, stop during the day etc) or in case you decide to stop skiing during the day and you do not reach the vertical meters included in the package at the end of the day.

All decisions to fly and ski are based upon current or predicted weather, snow and avalanche hazard conditions. The guides reserve the right to restrict or deny skiing at any time and for any reason whatsoever. As a guest you recognize, accept, and agree to abide by all decisions made by our guides. This policy is designed for your own safety and skiing enjoyment!

Calculation of the vertical meters

The total vertical meters of the group (standard package) is taken into account. The daily vertical meters are also added to the persons who stopped skiing during the day. When the entire group (standard package) stops during the day, the vertical meters performed are taken into account. However, if at the end of the week the group does not reach the 20`000 vertical meters guaranteed, the refund will be made according to the vertical meters that the other groups will have skied.

Additional vertical meters

You are free to stop or to continue when you have reached the vertical meters limit included in your package. The day before you reach the 30`500 meters limit of your package, your guide will ask you if you want to stop or continue skiing and pay for any additional vertical meters.
If necessary, the groups will be reformed to accommodate the participants who have chosen to continue skiing. For every day on which the helicopter does additional vertical meters, we will charge a minimum of 3`000 vertical meters per person.
